Prior to this, I worked at Van Gelder, a supplier of fresh produce. My role included marketing and communication, as well as overseeing CRM and eCommerce. When the company needed a different eCommerce platform and wanted a combined website and online store, I managed the entire process from selection to implementation. That's how I came across CloudSuite during the software supplier selection.
The collaboration that ensued felt really good. I liked the people and immediately saw the potential of the product. After the implementation, I thought: see, I am not just a Marketer. I simply wanted to continue in eCommerce and replicate such a process not just for one, but for many different companies. I cautiously approached CloudSuite, and fortunately, they were just as enthusiastic as I was. Because I already knew the product well, the onboarding process went very smoothly. I felt right at home from the start. And now, more than 3.5 years have passed.
Over the past few years, I have been given the space to develop which has allowed me to experience tremendous development.

Senior eCommerce Implementation Consultant
My workdays as an eCommerce Implementation Consultant are diverse, usually quite busy, and often revolve around implementations. I typically start the day with a daily meeting with the scrum team. What are we going to focus on during the sprint? And how can we support each other? Additionally, I have many client meetings throughout the day.
I derive most of my energy from initiating new implementations, especially from so-called 'sprint-0 projects.' These always start with a workshop with the client to gather requirements and essentially create a blueprint for the upcoming implementation. While we offer the same standard eCommerce solution to every client, our implementation is, of course, tailored to their specific needs.
At times, a client requests something that doesn't seem to fit within our standard process initially. It's my responsibility to bridge the gap: how can we achieve the same goal but in a different way? Or can we evolve our own product to meet the client's requirements? I find this challenge exciting every time.
I'm extremely satisfied with the employment conditions. I'm rewarded well for my good performance, and the secondary benefits are great too. For instance, I have a company car to facilitate easy visits to clients. However, what I perhaps value even more than money and other perks is freedom. At CloudSuite, we work in a hybrid manner and have flexible working hours because they trust me and believe I take my responsibilities seriously when needed. So, I feel right at home here.
Challenging work is important, but equally vital to me is the camaraderie with colleagues. Everyone here is approachable and enjoys each other's company. That makes you feel at home very quickly. CloudSuite also organizes a lot. We have quarterly meetings four times a year where we get updated on the company. How are we doing? What's happening? I highly value this transparency. After such a meeting, we all engage in an activity together; golfing, go-karting, or simply enjoying a meal. To celebrate the company's tenth anniversary, we even went on a long weekend trip to Valencia. It was incredibly fun and excellent for team building.
