Once a customer opts for our scalable eCommerce platform, our designers start translating the customer's wishes into a webshop design. Your daily challenge as a Front-end Developer at CloudSuite is to bring that design to life as best as possible.
The realization of the design is an ongoing creative puzzle. Sometimes, a designer comes up with a design that may not be technically feasible. In such cases, how can you achieve the same goal without making significant changes to the design?
In this process, you engage in discussions with your colleagues in Design, as well as with those in Back-end and DevOps.
You work extensively on the development of new webshops (onboarding projects) and also on continuously improving existing webshops (retainer projects). Additionally, the ongoing development of our platform is a constant project.

Front-end Developer

As a Front-end Developer, you work in a scrum team. You start the day with a daily stand-up where you can ask questions and clarify your tasks for the day and week ahead. Knowledge sharing is a central focus in the Front-end team.
Collaborative coding and knowledge exchange using pair programming are common practices, and colleagues actively review each other's work through code reviews. Additionally, you have access to a dedicated learning program to enhance your development skills. Depending on your knowledge and experience, you may join as a junior, medior, or senior developer.
The Front-end team comprises nearly 10 developers, with a well-balanced gender distribution.
