Jeroen Seegers - Software Developer

One of the most enjoyable aspects of working at CloudSuite is the continuous pursuit of improvement and optimization, both of processes and of the product itself. The freedom you have to contribute to this is unique and something I've rarely experienced at other companies. This culture of continuous improvement, combined with the close collaboration between different departments and shared technical knowledge, enables you to brainstorm implementation issues and solutions with almost anyone.

Freedom

When I started at CloudSuite, there was a lot of work to be done, and we were on the brink of major changes in the technological landscape that we are now in the midst of. This offered countless opportunities to tackle. I was given a lot of freedom to choose what I wanted to work on, which allowed me to quickly move through various tasks and gain knowledge in diverse areas in a short amount of time.

One of the most enjoyable aspects of my work at CloudSuite is the continuous improvement and optimization of both processes and the product.

The development team forms a fantastic mix of people with diverse levels of experience and backgrounds. Everyone is exceptionally open, eager to learn, and willing to collaborate. You can always turn to someone with questions or just to chat about the weekend.

Due to the migration of our backend to a new version, I quickly got to see much of the platform because we had to review a lot of code to check compatibility between the versions. If necessary, we added extra tests to ensure and improve functionality and quality. As a result, I believe that everyone's overall knowledge of the entire platform has increased.

Contact with colleagues

The long weekend trip to Valencia in 2022 with the whole team was truly a hit. It was fantastic to get to know each other better in an informal setting, even those with whom you don't work intensively on a daily basis.
